The advantage of a seamless creative stack lies in how everything interlocks: a logo built in Illustrator, images refined in Photoshop and an intro animated in After Effects fit together cleanly, with no loss of quality at the seams. For clients, that means a consistent identity across every channel – print, web, social and video – from a single creative hand.
In practice
Suppose a business wants a new logo for its brand presence that has to work on the website as well as on vehicle lettering and printed matter. We design the logo in Illustrator as a vector graphic so that it scales losslessly to any size — from the small favicon to the vehicle wrap. Product photos are then cut out and colour-matched in Photoshop, and a short animated intro for social media is created in After Effects. Because all the programs come from one stack, colours and shapes fit together across all output formats without visible breaks at the transitions — from the screen to the printed vehicle wrap.
When we do not use it
For quick adjustments to web images or simple graphics we reach for lighter, faster tools — the full Adobe stack is not worth it for a task that a simple image editor finishes in a few minutes. Creative Cloud is also not the right tool for the actual website build: layouts from InDesign or Illustrator cannot be transferred directly into code; that is where our development tools take over.
