»Having the code« means being free — not »changing it by double-click«.
This is the point many keep quiet about. We don't.
A website is a small program. For every change — even a single word — the site has to be briefly »built« (assembled) and »published« (put online) again. That is a short technical step, not a click like in Word.
The good news: because it is all standard technology, any web professional can perform that step. You can never be held to ransom — and you still have three convenient routes.

We do it for you
You send us the change — new text, a new photo, an offer. We implement it and put it online. Per change, with no subscription at all.
Who it's for: You would rather not deal with any of it.
Your own web professional
Because it is standard code with no secret recipe, any developer can look after your site. You are entirely independent — of us and of anyone else.
Who it's for: You already have someone, or want the choice.
You, with AIThe modern route
We set up an AI editor for you. After that you change everything by simply saying it: »swap this photo«, »write a news item«, »change the opening hours«. The AI performs the technical steps. More powerful than a click-together builder — you can change anything, not just the fields someone predefined.
Who it's for: You want to look after it yourself and are open to technology.
This requires an AI subscription (a small monthly amount paid to the AI provider) and a certain openness to »run the command, check it briefly«. We set everything up and walk you through it in a training session — including the safety net that lets you undo any change.
Where your site runs
Hosting — the choice is yours.
»Hosting« means your site has to sit on a computer connected to the internet so that visitors can see it. That costs a few euros a month — with a provider of your choosing.
Host it yourself
The simple version of your site runs on almost any inexpensive web space — including the provider you may already have. Full control, no detour through us.
We run it for you
If you also want a convenient click-based interface for editing it yourself, we operate that for you — for a small, transparent flat fee. Not a subscription for our work, just the running costs.
Your freedom, in writing
No lock-in. You can leave at any time.
If at some point you want to part ways, you take everything with you: your content, your data and a working version of your site. The building kit and the »engine« behind it remain our tools — your site remains yours.

With every service bought in, the number of places grows where someone else decides about your data and your availability. That is not bad per se — it becomes a problem when nobody can say any more which provider holds what and what happens on switching. That is why with us you receive the source code, the access credentials and a list of the service providers involved, instead of a system only we can operate.

What “the website belongs to you” means in practice — and where its limits lie.
From when does the website belong to me?
After payment in full. With payment in instalments, that is not the day the site goes live but the day of the final instalment — we say this explicitly because “after that it belongs to you” is otherwise misunderstood. From that point on, you hold the usage rights to the delivered work and the source code.
What do I get besides the finished site?
The source code, the access credentials for hosting and domain, the images used together with their licence records, and handover documentation. The yardstick is simple: another service provider must be able to carry on working with it without having to phone us.
Can I maintain the site myself afterwards?
Texts, images and simple content, yes — you get an introduction for that. Changes to structure or functionality need someone who can handle the technology; that can be us or someone else. We build in no hurdle that forces you to stay with us.
What does the project cost, and what is not included?
From 3,640 € net one-off (introductory price, regularly 4,490 €). Not included are running costs that arise in any case: domain and hosting after the first year, purchased images or fonts, and ongoing support if you want it. Those looking for permanent support are usually better off with the partnership from 594 € net per month (introductory price, regularly 849 €) — for new clients with a twelve-month term, currently from 594 €.
What if I don't like the result?
That is why we work in visible interim stages instead of towards one big reveal: you watch the site grow online and can intervene early, while corrections are still cheap. The scope includes two correction rounds per page; anything beyond that we announce in advance instead of quietly billing it later.
