Accessibility statement

1. Scope

This statement applies to the website conexadigital.eu of Conexa Digital, a brand of Merust Trust SL, Manises (Valencia), Spain. It relates to the publicly accessible web presence.

On the legal position, plainly stated: European Directive (EU) 2019/882 — implemented in Germany by the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), in force since 28 June 2025 — is aimed at certain services for consumers, in particular electronic commerce. Our offering is directed exclusively at businesses (see § 1(2) of our terms), and no contract is concluded via this website — enquiries lead to an individual quotation. In our assessment, this site therefore does not fall within the scope.

We hold ourselves to it regardless. Accessibility is not a question of obligation: anyone who cannot operate our site cannot work with us either. Should the legal classification change — for instance through a future client portal — we will update this statement.

2. Legal framework and target standard

We take our bearings from the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in force in Germany since 28 June 2025, and from the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549. The target standard for this website is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

3. State of conformity

In our assessment, this website is largely in conformity with the requirements named above.

Self-assessment of 26 July 2026: We tested eight representative pages (home, services, working together, solutions, plain-language glossary, privacy policy, terms, contact area) in both desktop and mobile views automatically against WCAG 2.1 A and AA (testing tool: axe-core). Result: six of the eight pages came through without a finding. The violations found — link identification (WCAG 1.4.1) and keyboard reachability of a scrollable region (WCAG 2.1.1) — have been fixed; contrast ratios of secondary text elements were raised across the site.

Implemented, among other things: a semantic page structure with a heading hierarchy, respect for the “reduce motion” system setting (prefers-reduced-motion) in animations and motion effects, ARIA attributes on interactive dialogues (e.g. the cookie notice), and permanently underlined links in body text.

What an automated test cannot do, we say as well: it detects machine-testable criteria. The comprehensibility of alternative texts, a sensible order for keyboard operation and usability with a screen reader are not conclusively assessed by it. No third-party audit has taken place.

4. Non-accessible content / known limitations

• The website contains heavily animated and in places graphically demanding content (including WebGL-based effects). Simplified renderings exist for older devices and for reduced motion; a full accessibility review of all effects is still outstanding.
• Large chapter numerals sit behind the headings as a decorative element. They are deliberately low in contrast, hidden from screen readers and not selectable — they carry no information. A testing tool reports them nonetheless; the contrast requirement under WCAG 1.4.3 does not apply to purely decorative elements. We name it here so the finding remains traceable.
• Alternative texts for images and consistent keyboard operability of all interactive components have not been conclusively checked by hand.

We are working to remedy the limitations named above.

6. Enforcement procedure

Since, in our assessment, this site does not fall within the scope of the provisions named (section 1), there is no market surveillance authority responsible for it that you could turn to. We therefore do not wish to hide behind a body that does not exist for us: tell us, and we will take care of it.

Should the legal classification change, the enforcement procedure of the then-relevant member state applies; we will name the competent body at this point as soon as that is the case.
