Hosting & operation
Hosting in Germany
Hosting is the server — the computer in a data centre where your website lives. With us, exclusively Hetzner or IONOS in Germany. Your data and your visitors' data stay in the EU.
SSL encryption
The padlock icon in the browser: an encrypted connection between visitor and website. We set it up and renew it automatically.
Uptime monitoring
An automated system checks around the clock, every 5 minutes, whether your website is reachable. If it goes down, we know immediately — usually before you or your customers notice.
Daily backups
A backup is a complete copy of your website. We create one every day and keep them for 30 days. If something goes wrong, we restore yesterday's version — not one from three months ago.
Maintenance & security
Ongoing technical updates
The software behind your website is updated regularly. Outdated software is the most common entry point for attacks — we keep that door closed, continuously.
Baseline security
A firewall (a digital doorman that turns away malicious traffic), protection against automated attack attempts and ongoing checks for anomalies.
Fault resolution
If your website is completely down, we begin fixing it within 4 hours on business days. Minor faults are handled within the normal response time of 2 business days.
Content upkeep
Up to 2 small changes per month
A small change is a self-contained adjustment to existing content taking up to 30 minutes to implement — for example: updating opening hours, swapping a paragraph, changing an image, adjusting a price, adding a team member. A new page or a new feature is not a change but a separate commission with an advance estimate.
Basic AEO
AI readability of your existing pages
AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization: preparing your website so that AI assistants such as ChatGPT can technically understand it and use it as a source. In practice: structured data (machine-readable extra information about your company, services, questions and answers), clean headings and the technical mark-up of existing content. Included: a one-off initial set-up plus one review and fine-tune per quarter. Not included: new copy or content — that is content production and belongs to Growth. Important, and honest: we optimise the groundwork. Whether AI systems or search engines actually display or cite your site is decided by their operators.
Reporting & availability
Monthly report
Once a month you receive a plain-language report: visitor numbers (collected in a privacy-friendly way), uptime, load time, completed work and one concrete recommendation for the coming month. No wall of numbers — a single page shows you what your website has done.
A fixed support channel
You reach us by email and we reply within 2 business days (Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm). Response time means you receive a qualified answer with an assessment and a next step — the solution itself may take longer depending on the topic, and if so we tell you how long.
Scope & limits
To keep the fixed price fair, every service has a clear volume. Anything beyond it we agree with you in advance — never as a surprise on the invoice.

Availability & response time
Reply within 2 business days by email (Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm, except nationwide German public holidays). In the event of a complete website outage: resolution begins within 4 hours on business days.

Good to know
- Minimum term 6 months, thereafter cancellable monthly with 1 month's notice to the end of the month.
- Taking over a website we did not build: one-off onboarding fee of 490 € net (technical review, migration to Hetzner/IONOS, set-up of backups and monitoring).
- Unused changes expire at the end of the month — they are the reason the price stays fixed.
- No lock-in: the website, data and access credentials belong to you. On cancellation we hand everything over in an orderly fashion (standard handover included).
